What a scary title, I know! But I had to.. XD I endured one of the scariest moments of my Runescape career as of late. I extremely, and I mean extremely rarely die. I came so unbearably close to certain death for the first time in the Living Rock Caves. It was quite a sight. But lucky I got out… Hanging by a thread. SOMEONE GET THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT!!!!!!

But aside from funny moments like that, this week I’ve resolved my issue and just gotten off my lazy behind and started to mine. Well.. Not literally off it otherwise I wouldn’t be mining… But you get me! I was also generally happy about my week because of the fact that I got the set of clothes I’ve been wanting for what? 2 years? Naval!! I’ve been real lazy in regards to doing the required quests to get the set and finally just swallowed my pride and did it. It really paid off, I love the set. It’s like my baby :D Now cheers to not doing another quest for the next 3 months!
I guess really only one downside was attached to me really liking that Naval gear. It may have been part of the reason that I nearly died… LOL. Naval and Level 140 angry living rock strikers just ain’t gonna mix, keep note of that for next time you decide to look good whilst mining in dangerous caves.
Interesting Examine Information of the Week
On with the rest of the post: I did achieve 95 mining this week, which is quite an achievement for me since I’ve been going at around 500k mining xp per day just out of pure motivation to get that sexy cape. I did this for Agility and it’s always puzzled me why I can’t get this kind of xp when I’m a lower level. There’s just no motivation! But now that there is – I’m excited to say that I will be 99 mining by the next update that I do on this blog. Gonna be so epic!
I was doing my daily trolling browsing activity where I check out some of the sites that I like and Draynor.net was on the list. As of late I’ve been really disappointed as to what’s been going on with the site, or better yet what hasn’t been going on. But recently, the unspeakable happened. The forums were taken down by long-time administrator, Flockers. And rightfully so! Good on him for taking a step like that in the right direction. Draynor is going nowhere at this stage, and I hope something happens – So-long Draynor.net! (Until something is done to revive the site)
Not impressed and not surprised either. However, something that did surprise me this week was the fact that I won 2nd place in Skillers Empire’s chinchompa competition, it was a pretty fun event and you can find pictures of that event and any other event that I’ve participated in inside the new SE Events gallery that I was working on this week!
Mined a bit too much?
School’s coming up soon and that doesn’t make me too happy but it’s something I’m going to have to deal with because I will have barely any free-time when it starts. So I’m going to make the most of it now by getting 99 Mining as quickly and opportunistically as possible, then I can get on with my life. No pun intended ;)
